Revitalize and restore your body. This class teaches traditional yoga poses and breathing techniques to help improve spinal alignment, increase flexibility, and build strength. The focus is on nurturing the body and mind so the pace is slower and the poses used are less stressful on the body than many other yoga classes. Suitable for all ages and experience levels and is a great place to start for people first starting out or getting back into practice.
It’s all in the hips! This Yin inspired class focuses on stretching the deep tissue around the hips and lower spine through floor postures. Poses are relaxed and held for longer periods of time with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. Some teachers also incorporate props to enhance the movement. This class is accessible to all levels and is especially good for people who have issues with balance or and standing poses uncomfortable.
Healthy Back Yoga
Align the spine. Healthy Back Yoga emphasizes poses that help improve posture and relieve back pain. Many of us have poor posture and pain from our time trapped in front of a computer or at a desk. This class will leave you standing straighter and feeling relieved and is great for anyone who has recovered from a previous back injury.
Mindful Flow Yoga
Kick it up a notch! This class is based on Vinyasa Flow Yoga so you can expect to do more standing poses and a quicker pace as you move fluidly through poses that get the whole body moving. The poses will require more strength, balance, and flexibility but you’ll have a teacher supporting and guiding you the whole way.
Full muscle relaxation. This class focuses on allowing the body to fully relax and rest. Props are used to support the body and eliminate strain so that poses can be held for longer periods of time allowing your body to relax through passive stretching. Essential oils create an ideal environment for full relaxation and meditation is woven in to relax the mind at the same time. Great for beginners or those with injuries.
Loosen up. This class loosens up the muscles and improves flexibility, posture, and range of motion by combining active stretching and self massage using yoga balls. Releasing the built up tension in your muscles leaves you feeling relaxed and allows your body to move more naturally.
